How to record a BT MeetMe call

The chairperson of the call has the ability to start and stop a recording of the call. Recording a call is charged once for each MeetMe conference call. This is subject to your terms and conditions.

Start recording your conference call

  1. To start recording your conference, press * 8 on your telephone keypad
  2. Follow the voice prompts:
    • Press * 1 to confirm that you want to start recording your conference.
    • Press * 2 to return to the conference without enabling recording.

Participants who join after the recording has started will be informed that the call is being recorded.

Stop recording your conference call

  1. To stop recording your conference, press * 8 on your telephone keypad
  2. Follow the voice prompts:
    • Enter * 1 to stop the recording.
    • Enter * 2 to return to the conference.

Access the recording of your call

When the recording is stopped or when the meeting ends, the chairperson will receive an email with a link to the BT MeetMe Recording website to retrieve the recording.

  1. Click on the web link from within the email.
  2. Once at the BT MeetMe Recording website:
    • Enter your chairperson passcode
    • Enter your participant passcode
    • Enter the verification code (for security purposes) to access your conference recording.
    • Click Log in

  3. Once you have entered the BT MeetMe Recording website you will have the options to archive or share the recording by saving the recording directly onto your computer, posting it on a website or forwarding it on to your contacts via an email.

    • Save your recording to your computer
      Your conference recording is saved as a .wav file, which should open in any standard media player. To save your recording follows the steps on the website
    • View all saved conference recordings
      Your BT MeetMe recordings will be stored for 30 days.
