Using the BT MeetMe Desktop Controller

Launching Desktop Controller

You can launch the Desktop Controller in one of three different ways:

Joining as chairperson

  1. After Desktop Controller is launched, click on the "Add/Join" button on the Desktop Controller.
  2. Click on "Join as Chairperson".
  3. On the next window, choose the number you would like to be called back on and click "Join" at the bottom of the screen.
  4. When your phone rings, answer it and you will be connected to your conference.

Adding a participant to your conference

  1. Click on "Add/Join" button on the Desktop Controller.
  2. Click on "Add Participant".
  3. On the next window, choose a contact and click "Add" or type in the name and number of the person you would like to add to the call.
  4. The contact's phone will ring and when they answer it they will be connected to you conference.

Issue conference-wide commands

You can mute and unmute all participants (lecture mode), start a recording, assign a billing reference, lock the conference, play roll call, set conference continuation, and request operator assistance.

Conference wide commands

To access these commands, click on the 'Control' button on the Desktop Controller.

Participant line commands

You can issue participant line commands by on the left arrow and the end of participant row. This will open a control screen that allows you to mute and unmute the line, edit the name, announce the participant's roll call name, and disconnect the line.
